Aqualyx™ Injectable Fat Removal
New & exciting product to help target localised areas of fat
Why regular exercise and healthy nourishment do not always work… Regardless of whether you pay close attention to a wholesome lifestyle by regularly exercising and eating healthily or not, in some cases that one particular pad of fat that concerns you the most will just not disappear. The reason for this issue lies most of the time within the unique structure of our fat cells in particular areas of the body and our genes . The human body stores fat in a natural manner in order to supply energy in times of need. Fat cells which are situated in the subcutaneous fat tissue are difficult to reduce. This is due to the fact that only their contents and overall volume can be altered, but not the fat cells themselves. Therefore, these particular fat cells cannot be eliminated and continuously act as a reliable depot for the body to store fat.
Fat Dissolving Injections – How does Aqualyx™ work?
Aqualyx™ contains the substance called desoxycholan-acid which is a secondary bile acid. With the help of bacteria our body is able to produce this acid in the liver which consequently aids in the digestion of fat. Professor Pasquale was the first to utlise the fat-dissolving effect of this acid and was able to develop a synthetic variant. He is the inventor of Aqualyx ™. The active substance in Aqualyx ™ locks on to the fat cell walls and then starts to operate. This results in the cell wall becoming unstable and then releasing the fatty acid that is stored within. The body’s defences remove the cell residue and the non-attached fatty acids are metabolised and converted into energy.
Which areas of the body can be treated with Aqualyx ™?
Aqualyx ™ can be administered in many areas over the entire body e.g. double chin, prejowl sulcus, upper arms, armpits, waist, hips, saddlebags, knees, shackles, augmented fat depots located on buttocks, chest and the inner thighs. Aqualyx™ is also a possible treatment of pseudo-gynecomastia and buffalo humps.
How many treatments are required?
The amount of treatments varies according to the desired degree, the dimensions of the fat depot and the individual reactions of the fat tissue. On average you will have to expect around 3 to 5 appointments, with 4-week intervals, until you can actually fully experience the results. A treatment with Aqualyx™ does not result in weight loss. Healthy nutrition, as well as an exercise regimen, are an absolute necessity to ensure the success of the treatment.
What does the treatment feel like?
Using a unique trained technique, the solution is injected into the fat through a special Aqualyx™ sharp cannula. Usually, 2 injection spots are needed per region with the amount of product used differing according to the area of fat being treated. In addition, a local anaesthetic can be added to the solution before injecting in order to improve the comfort levels of the patient; the treatment is virtually painless with a warm sensation, itching, slight oedema, slight burning, and reddening appearance for 1-3 days within the treated area.
Each treatment may vary from one person to another.

The treatment is relatively painless and local anaesthetic can be added to the solution to keep discomfort to a minimum. You will feel a warm sensation, as well as an itching, slight burning, slight oedema and reddening appearance for 1-3 days within the treated area.
Aqualyx achieves these fantastic results with just three to six sessions, at four-week intervals. The number of sessions required depends on the size of the fatty deposit and on how quickly your body responds to the treatment.
