Bingo Wings
The upper arms and shoulder can be one of the most difficult areas to tone and the first to give away age. We have compiled five great tips for sculpting the bingo wings and getting you ready for that little black dress in time for Christmas.
1) Combine cardio exercises with resistance or strength training to optimise results. Strength training builds and tones the muscles while cardio blasts the layer of fat that surrounds the muscle. If you don’t have that much time for exercise, alternate your workouts between cardio and strength training.
2) Assess your eating habits. It is impossible to tone and decrease fat if you aren’t eating healthily. So, cut down on the sugars and up the vegetables!
3) The power plate is your friend! The power plate transmits waves of energy throughout the body and causes the muscles to contract between 25-50 times per second. These contractions work in multiple directions to increase blood circulation, muscle strength and flexibility, range of motion, bone mineral density and decrease cellulite. Best of all, you only need 15 minutes per day to see results!
4) Stretch! Stretching your arms may not be part of your normal routine, but stretching is an essential part of all exercise. Plus, stretching helps to create long, lean muscles rather than bulk. This is why Yoga and Pilates are ideal for creating shapely arms.
5) Why not spice up your routine with an Accent Radiofrequency session? Accent is designed to tighten the skin and emulsify fatty tissue. Best of all, accent works over time, so you continue to see results 6-9 months after the initial treatment.
