PRX-Reverse is a non-invasive medical treatment, specifically designed for the treatment of hyperpigmentation and melasma. PRX-Reverse is a 3-phase treatment that penetrates into the lower skin layers where it detoxifies, combats oxidative stress and rejuvenates the skin.

PRX-Reverse treatment utilises a unique formula, which makes it stand out from other existing treatments and peels. The 3-phase treatment targets melasma and hyperpigmentation in a gradual, effective, and safe way to even the skin tone and restores a clear complexion.

Melasma is a skin condition characterised by dark patches of skin or dark freckle like spots. Melasma is often referred to as “the mask of pregnancy” and is caused by sun exposure, genetics, hormones, pregnancy, and UV damage. PRX-Reverse works at targeting the overproduction of cells that make the colour of your skin – melanin.

How does the PRX-Reverse Treatment work?

The 3-phases of PRX-Reverse treatment:

1st phase starts with melanin oxidation and lightening, triggered by the application of both hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid. Both ingredients are able to reach the deeper layers of the dermis thanks to the use of TCA (Trichloroacetic acid), which allows easier penetration. Hydrogen Peroxide also modulates the inflammatory process at low concentrations.

2nd Phase is a peel with a high-concentration Lactic and Phytic acid with iron-chelating (removal of excess iron) action. Lactic acid reaches the basal layer and secretes the pigment from inside out (a process known as cell vacuolisation), without damaging the surface layers.

3rd Phase is a Hydroxy acid peeling that contains Glycolic, Mandelic and Salicylic Acids, which gently exfoliate the outer layers of the skin. The additional formulation of Phytic acid provides further iron-chelating action.

"I simply cannot rate this place highly enough. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. All the staff at Body-vie are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. Dr Weber is someone with whom I trust implicitly. I went to another local aesthetics clinic before this one for a consultation and walked out feeling disheartened and very confused, I was made to feel like I needed to spend a lot of cash in order to get the desired result.
