This page covers what treatment is like at Richmond specifically: where we are, who will see you, and how appointments work. The clinical detail, including how the medicine works, where our product comes from and the full list of risks, is on our main anti-wrinkle injections page.
Prices are identical at Richmond and Belgravia, and so is the standard of care. Which clinic you choose is a matter of which is easier to reach.
Finding us in Richmond
Bodyvie Medi-Clinic, 133-135 Kew Road, Richmond, Surrey TW9 2PN
By train. Three minutes on foot from Richmond Station, which is served by the District line, London Overground and South Western Railway. There is a taxi rank directly outside the station.
By bus. The 65 stops directly outside the clinic. Other routes run along Kew Road.
By car. Pay and Display parking is close by, payable by coin or through the RingGo app. For a longer stay, the NCP at Richmond Station Car Park is a short walk. Spaces get busy at peak times, so allow a few extra minutes.
Full opening hours and accessibility information are on our directions and visiting us page.
Who treats you here
Anti-wrinkle injections at Richmond are carried out by Dr Andrew Weber (GMC 2693226), Dr Vadim Corjos (GMC 7822977) or Dr Dara Suite (GMC 7130257). Kew Road is where Bodyvie started, and Dr Weber has been treating patients on this site since 1999. A good number of the people who come here have been seeing the same doctor for a decade or more, which matters with a treatment that is repeated three or four times a year. Somebody who knows how your forehead behaved last spring is working from more than a chart. The doctor who assesses you is the doctor who prescribes and the doctor who injects. No prescriber signing off remotely for somebody else to treat you, and no non-medical injector. Every one of those is checkable. The doctors are on the GMC register. Bodyvie Medi-Clinic is registered with the Care Quality Commission and rated Good, and is a Save Face Accredited Clinic, independently assessed against the Save Face standards and listed on the Save Face register until 30 September 2027. All three are appraised annually through MEDSU, an independent designated body, and revalidated with the GMC every five years. We would rather you checked than took our word for it.
Fitting it around a working day
The treatment itself takes about twenty minutes and needs no anaesthetic. We use TSK Invisible needles, which are among the finest made, to keep it as comfortable as possible, so it fits inside a lunch break. Being three minutes from Richmond Station makes that practical rather than theoretical.
What does not fit inside twenty minutes is the first appointment. A new patient is assessed, has the medicine prescribed and is treated in the same visit, and we allow time for the conversation that sits in front of that. Booking your first appointment at the end of the day rather than squeezed into the middle of one is usually the better plan.
Bruising is possible, and while it is usually minor it is worth knowing before a wedding, a photograph or a holiday. Two weeks between treatment and the event is a sensible margin.
Every treatment includes a two-week review
Every anti-wrinkle treatment here includes a review two weeks later with the same doctor, at no extra cost, and we book it before you leave.
Two weeks is when the effect has settled enough to judge. If a brow has dropped slightly, or one side has taken more than the other, that is when it is put right. If nothing needs doing, you are out in five minutes.
Being a few minutes from the station is what makes this workable in practice. A review appointment nobody can get to is a review appointment that does not happen, which is roughly the state of the industry.
What we will not do
We will not treat you without assessing you first, and the assessment is done by the doctor who will be holding the syringe.
We will not treat you if we do not think it is the right thing to do. That happens more often than you might expect, usually because what is bothering somebody is a static line that will not respond, or because expectations do not match what this treatment can do. A consultation may end with us saying no.
We buy only through recognised UK pharmacy wholesalers and meet the cold chain requirements. Those wholesalers will not dispense to us unless our indemnity, registration and training records are current. There is more detail about why that matters on the main treatment page.
Afterwards, and who it is not for
Expect small raised bumps at the injection points, a little like bee stings, sometimes with some redness. They usually settle within an hour or two, and bruising is possible. Most people go straight back to work.
For the rest of the day: stay upright, do not rub the area, and leave exercise, saunas and facials until tomorrow.
It is not suitable in pregnancy or while breastfeeding, with a neuromuscular condition such as myasthenia gravis, with infection in the area, or if you have reacted to this treatment before. The full list of risks and contraindications is on the main treatment page, and we go through them with you at consultation.
One thing to keep in mind for longer than most people expect: if you develop difficulty swallowing, slurred speech or difficulty breathing at any point in the four weeks after treatment, seek medical attention straight away and say that you have had a botulinum toxin injection. It is rare. It is also what the MHRA asks every patient to be aware of, so we would rather you heard it from us.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We would rather you were not. The review exists so that the doctor who treated you sees how you responded, and that is most useful when it is the same person in the same room. If your circumstances change we will work around it, but the default is that you come back to Richmond.
Yes, every time. The medicine is prescription-only, and a prescription-only medicine has to be prescribed for you by a doctor who has assessed you on that occasion. That is the law, not a preference. In practice a repeat appointment is quicker, because the assessment is shorter when we already know how you responded last time.
