Sculptra is £950 per vial at our Richmond clinic on Kew Road. A doctor consultation is £50 and comes off the cost of treatment. If you are new to collagen biostimulators we will usually recommend Juläine instead, and we will tell you so at the consultation.
Sculptra at Bodyvie Richmond, 133-135 Kew Road, prescribed and given by our own GMC-registered doctors. We have used Sculptra on this site since 2001. Every course starts with a consultation, and a consultation may or may not lead to treatment.
Who Sculptra suits
This is the part most clinics leave out, so we will put it first. Sculptra is available here through a consultation that establishes whether it is right for you, and we prepare and place it the way twenty-five years of using it has taught us, deciding each case on its merits. It suits patients with a previous treatment history of Sculptra, who did well on it and who have no history of granulomas, best of all. If that is you, and Richmond is your clinic, this is the right page.
If you have never had a collagen biostimulator and you have arrived here searching for Sculptra in Richmond, we will talk you through both at the consultation, and more often than not we recommend Juläine at Richmond. It is the same class of product, poly-L-lactic acid, in a preparation we think behaves more predictably. Nothing about that recommendation costs you more.
Why we are careful with it
Nodules and late granulomas are the recognised complication of poly-L-lactic acid. Published incidence sits somewhere between 2 and 14 per cent depending on technique, and that spread is the whole point: most of the risk lives in how the product is prepared and placed rather than in the product itself. A 2026 scoping review found a nodule rate of 1.3 per cent using a high-dilution protocol against 8 per cent with standard dilution.
That matches what we have seen since 2001, and it is why we dilute generously and reconstitute two days ahead of your appointment rather than on the day. It takes longer, it uses more material, and it is reflected in the price. The full clinical reasoning is on our main Sculptra page.
Who treats you at Richmond
Sculptra is a doctor-led treatment at Bodyvie. At Richmond you may be treated by Dr Vadim Corjos, Dr Andrew Weber or Dr Dara Suite, depending on availability and on what your assessment suggests.
Whoever treats you assesses you first. Nobody here injects a collagen biostimulator without examining the face it is going into and agreeing that it is the right treatment.
What happens at your appointment
Assessment first. The doctor looks at where collagen has actually been lost, reviews what you have had before and confirms Sculptra is the right choice for you. If a different biostimulator suits you better, we will talk about Juläine.
Preparation. Your vial is reconstituted two days before your appointment with 7ml of sterile water, and 3ml of lidocaine is added on the day, ten millilitres in all. That is now Galderma’s own protocol, and it is how we were already preparing it before Galderma changed the guidance. It cannot be rushed on the day, which is why Sculptra appointments are booked rather than added on.
Treatment. The product is placed across the area being treated, then massaged. You will be shown how to continue the massage at home and told exactly how often.
Review. You are seen again before any further vial is considered. The change is gradual and cannot be reversed, so we would rather wait and look than add more.
Finding us
Bodyvie Richmond
133-135 Kew Road, Richmond, TW9 2PN
Richmond has been our main clinic since 1999. It is a short walk from Richmond station, which is served by South Western Railway, the District line and the London Overground. The 65 bus stops outside. There is pay and display parking on the surrounding streets and an NCP at the station. The clinic is CQC registered and was rated Good at its April 2026 inspection.
What it costs here
Sculptra is £950 per vial. The number of vials is assessed at consultation rather than sold as a package. A doctor consultation is £50 and is redeemable in full against the cost of treatment, so if you go ahead the consultation costs you nothing.
For comparison, Juläine is £950 a session, or £2,550 for a course of three, which works out at £850 a session. Prices are identical at Richmond and Belgravia.
Timing, if you have a date in mind
A Sculptra course is usually two to three sessions, four to six weeks apart. Results develop over three to six months and last around two years. This is not a treatment to start a fortnight before a wedding. If you have a date, work backwards by six months and talk to us before you book anything.
