Why Bodyvie
Every treatment is doctor-led from start to finish. Before you come in, we send you our pre-assessment questionnaire as an e-form through our booking portal. Completing and returning it is mandatory – it allows our doctor to assess you and approve your appointment, so your infusion is chosen for you and given only where it’s suitable. Bodyvie has been caring for patients since 1999, and our Medical Director, Dr Andrew Weber, brings over 45 years of clinical experience – so you’re in expert, safe hands in a CQC-registered clinic, with no downtime and a comfortable treatment room to relax in.
Not all IV drips are the same. Many are offered in salons, gyms and pop-ups with no doctor involved and no medical oversight. At Bodyvie, your infusion is prescribed and overseen by a doctor, prepared to pharmaceutical standards, and delivered by trained clinicians in a regulated clinical setting – the way IV therapy should be done.
Safety & standards
A CQC-registered medical clinic. Bodyvie is registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England. That means our treatments, staff and safety systems are held to national standards — not something salon or mobile drip services are required to meet.
Doctor-led, always. Every infusion is prescribed and overseen by our doctor following your pre-assessment. Our clinicians are trained in intravenous nutrient therapy (IVNT) and in managing the rare situations where a reaction can occur, with full emergency protocols in place.
Pharmaceutical-grade formulas from a licensed supplier. We use IntraVita International, a UK supplier that manufactures its own infusions in a licensed facility. IntraVita is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and holds a Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) wholesale dealer’s licence — so every vitamin and amino acid we give you is produced and supplied to regulated, pharmaceutical-grade quality, with full traceability.
Honest, tailored care
Honest, compliant information. We follow Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and MHRA guidance on how IV vitamin therapy is described. We won’t promise to cure or treat medical conditions — instead we’ll tell you honestly what these infusions can and can’t do, so you can make an informed choice.
Tailored to you, not one-size-fits-all. Your questionnaire and consultation let us pick the right infusion, adjust it where needed, and flag anyone who should have bloods or a fuller medical review first. Where a standard drip isn’t the right fit, our doctor can prepare a bespoke infusion for your specific needs.
Doctor-led IV drips in a CQC-regulated environment
Every IV drip at Bodyvie is prescribed and overseen by a doctor and given in a clinic registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission — not a salon, a gym or a pop-up.
All infusions and pre-assessments are overseen by our Medical Director, Dr Andrew Weber GMC 2693226 — with over 45 years of clinical experience — together with our team of doctors.
Your pre-assessment questionnaire is reviewed and your infusion approved before your appointment goes ahead.

Good to know
Age limits apply. Most infusions are for ages 18–60. Mega Vitaliser, Performance & Recovery, Focus and Fat Burner Plus are for ages 18–50.
Bloods before some infusions. Fat Burner Plus requires urea & electrolyte and liver function tests beforehand. Where certain medical conditions are present, other blood tests may be needed first.
One form, in advance. Everyone completes our IVNT pre-assessment questionnaire before their appointment. It is the only form we need up front, and our doctor reviews it to approve your infusion.
Bespoke infusions. Where a standard drip isn’t the right fit, our doctor can prepare an infusion tailored to your needs.
Prepared to protocol, in a private treatment room
Your infusion is prepared to protocol from pharmaceutical-grade formulas and given in a private treatment room, with our clinical team monitoring you throughout.
The full IV menu is available in clinic, and we will talk you through the options at your consultation before anything is agreed.
How it works
1. Pre-assessment questionnaire. Before your appointment you complete our IVNT pre-assessment questionnaire. This is the only form we need in advance and it is mandatory — it allows our doctor to review your health and approve your infusion. 2. Doctor consultation. Ahead of your treatment one of our doctors checks your questionnaire and any results, confirms the right infusion for you and approves the session — most treatments can still be given the same day. 3. Your infusion. Prepared to protocol and administered by our clinical team, with monitoring throughout. Most infusions run for around 30–45 minutes — allow a little longer in clinic for setting up and settling you afterwards — then you’re free to carry on with your day. Where certain medical conditions are present, blood tests may be needed before treatment — and, where appropriate, our doctor can prepare a bespoke infusion tailored to your needs.
Frequently asked questions
Every infusion at Bodyvie is prescribed and overseen by a doctor and given in a CQC-registered clinic by clinicians trained in intravenous nutrient therapy, with full emergency protocols in place. Our formulas come from IntraVita International, a UK supplier registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and holding an MHRA wholesale dealer’s licence. Side effects are uncommon and usually mild — a little bruising at the cannula site, or a warm or metallic taste during the drip.
Only the cannula going in, which feels much like a normal blood test. Once it is sited you shouldn’t feel anything beyond a mild coolness. Booster shots are a single intramuscular injection and are over in moments.
Yes. Everyone completes our IVNT pre-assessment questionnaire before their appointment — it is the only form we need in advance and it is mandatory. One of our doctors reviews it, confirms the right infusion for you and approves the session. Most treatments can still be given the same day.
It depends on the infusion and on you, which is what the consultation is for. We do not run packages or courses — you simply pay for each treatment as you have it, so you are free to come as often or as rarely as suits you. Vitamin D3 is the one exception: it is a loading dose and is not repeated more often than around every three months.
None. You can head back to work, the gym or the rest of your day straight afterwards.
Most infusions run for around 30 to 45 minutes. Allow a little longer than that in clinic for cannulation and for settling you afterwards. Immunity is two separate infusions of around 45 minutes each, and NAD+ is a deliberately slow infusion of two to three hours depending on dose.
Yes. Most infusions are for ages 18 to 60. Mega Vitaliser, Performance & Recovery, Focus and Fat Burner Plus are for ages 18 to 50. If you fall outside those ranges we will talk you through the alternatives.
