The treatment process
Consultation
Your consultation begins with a detailed assessment of the upper face. Dr Corjos evaluates brow position, forehead movement and eyelid anatomy to understand how these areas interact.
Medical history and previous treatments are also discussed. Clinical photographs may be taken to assist with surgical planning.
This appointment provides an opportunity to talk through your goals and understand what a brow lift can realistically achieve.
The procedure
Brow lift surgery is usually performed under local anaesthetic, with sedation available if appropriate.
Small incisions are placed discreetly within the hairline or natural scalp area. Through these incisions, the surgeon gently lifts and repositions the brow before securing it in its new position.
The procedure typically takes between one and two hours depending on the surgical approach used.
Aftercare
Patients return home the same day following treatment. The clinic provides detailed aftercare instructions to support recovery.
Follow-up appointments allow the team to monitor healing and remove any stitches if required. These visits also provide an opportunity to review early results.
Recovery and downtime
Swelling and bruising across the forehead and around the eyes are common after brow lift surgery. These effects usually improve during the first two weeks. Your aftercare and follow-up schedule
Surgery is a single day. Recovery is the weeks that follow, and that is where careful aftercare matters most. Every surgical patient at Bodyvie follows the same structured schedule, and every follow-up is with Dr Vadim himself – not a nurse or a patient coordinator.
- Before surgery – a full medication review, with clear written instructions on anything to pause beforehand.
- Day of surgery – you go home the same day, usually within a couple of hours, with written aftercare instructions, any medication you need, and direct contact details for the clinic.
- First 48 hours – the period when swelling peaks and questions are most likely. You can contact us at any point during this time.
- Around day 7 – your first follow-up with Dr Vadim. Sutures are removed where used, and healing is assessed.
- Weeks 2-4 – two or three appointments with Dr Vadim across the first month in total, so healing is monitored closely. Additional appointments are arranged whenever they are needed, at no extra cost.
- Beyond one month – your result continues to refine. You remain a Bodyvie patient, and you can come back and see us at any point.
Aftercare is included in your quotation. There are no additional charges for routine follow-up appointments.
Results and longevity
Early improvement becomes visible once the initial swelling settles. Over the following weeks the brow position stabilises and the final result becomes clearer.
Results often last many years, although natural ageing continues. The procedure restores brow position but does not stop the ageing process entirely.
