During the surgery itself, we either remove or reposition excess fat to reduce prominence. In certain cases, we will adjust and tighten the skin through a carefully placed incision beneath the lashes.
Aftercare
Swelling and bruising are expected during the first one to two weeks. We provide written aftercare instructions and review your progress closely as healing settles.
Recovery and downtime
Initial bruising generally improves within ten to 14 days, although mild swelling can take longer to settle fully. Some tightness around the lower eyelids is perfectly common during early healing.

- First 48 hours – the period when swelling peaks and questions are most likely. You can contact us at any point during this time.
- Around day 7 – your first follow-up with Dr Vadim. Sutures are removed where used, and healing is assessed.
- Weeks 2–4 – two or three appointments with Dr Vadim across the first month in total, so healing is monitored closely. Additional appointments are arranged whenever they are needed, at no extra cost.
- Beyond one month – your result continues to refine. You remain a Bodyvie patient, and you can come back and see us at any point.
