Established in 1999

Bodyvie is a Save Face Accredited Clinic. Both of our London clinics, Richmond and Belgravia, have been assessed against the Save Face standards and are listed on the Save Face register, Richmond and Belgravia. Our accreditation runs to 30 September 2027.

Save Face is an Accredited Register. The Accredited Registers programme is overseen by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliament. In a sector where a great deal is unregulated, that oversight is one of the few independent markers a patient can actually check.

Why it matters

Non-surgical cosmetic treatments in the UK are not restricted to medical professionals. A person with no clinical training can, lawfully, inject a member of the public. There is no register you must join, no premises standard you must meet, and no qualification you must hold.

That is the gap Save Face exists to close. It maintains a register of practitioners and clinics that have been independently assessed and verified, so that patients have somewhere reliable to look before they book.

Accreditation is not a logo a clinic can buy. It follows a 116-point assessment, and it has to be renewed.

What being accredited required of us

To be accredited, a clinic has to evidence how it actually operates, not simply describe it. Save Face independently checks five things: healthcare qualifications, procedure-specific training, insurance, the clinic itself, and the products used.

Bodyvie was assessed and accredited on that basis at both clinics.

Our Save Face accreditation certificates. Richmond, 133-135 Kew Road, TW9 2PN, and Belgravia, 11a West Halkin Street, SW1X 8JL. Accreditation number 6UREA4FPYC, accredited 30 September 2026, valid until 30 September 2027.

The Save Face seal records that the clinic is insured, inspected and regulated, and carries the Professional Standards Authority accredited register mark.

Accreditation is not given once and kept. It is time-limited, and a clinic has to be reassessed to hold on to it. Ours runs to 30 September 2027, at which point we are checked again.

It also gives patients somewhere independent to turn. If you have a concern about treatment you have received, from us or from any accredited clinic, Save Face has its own process for raising it. An unregulated clinic offers nothing comparable.

So when you see this mark, it means the qualifications, the training, the insurance, the premises and the products behind your treatment have been checked by somebody other than us.

What you can check for yourself

Before booking a cosmetic treatment anywhere, including with us, these are worth two minutes of your time.

  • Is the practitioner on a statutory register – the GMC for doctors, the NMC for nurses, the GDC for dentists? You can search all three free of charge.
  • Is the clinic on the Save Face register? You can search it free of charge.
  • Who is actually performing the treatment, and will you meet them before the day?
  • Is the premises registered with the Care Quality Commission, where the treatment requires it?
  • What happens if there is a complication, and who will you be able to reach?

A clinic that is happy to answer all five is telling you something useful. So is one that isn’t.

Our other credentials

Frequently asked questions

Is Save Face a government body?

No. Save Face is an independent organisation. Its register is one of the Accredited Registers overseen by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, which is accountable to Parliament. The Authority accredits the register; it does not run it.

Does accreditation mean a treatment is guaranteed to go well?

No, and any clinic that suggests otherwise should be treated with caution. All cosmetic procedures carry risk. What accreditation tells you is that the clinic has been independently assessed against a published standard, and that there is a route to raise a concern if you need one.

Are both of your clinics accredited?

Yes. Richmond and Belgravia are both accredited.

How long does accreditation last?

It is time-limited and has to be renewed. Ours currently runs to 30 September 2027.

Do I have to have a consultation first?

Yes. Every patient is assessed by the doctor who will carry out the treatment, before anything is agreed.

Book a consultation

Every consultation is with the doctor who would carry out your treatment. You will be told plainly whether a treatment is suitable for you, and if it isn’t, what would be.
