Joanne Macalalag graduated in 1990 from Saint Louis University in the Philippines with a Diploma of Higher Education in Radiologic Technology. Since graduating, she has continued to advance her training and knowledge and completed numerous training and accreditations in ultrasound and radiography. This includes courses with the Fetal Medicine Foundation, Society of Radiographers and College of Radiographers in cervical assessment, preeclampsia screening and advanced fetal medicine.
Joanne is a member of the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS), The Society of Radiographers (SOR), and the Health Professions Council.
Having joined Bodyvie in 2022 for its launch of Ultrasound services, Bodyvie is delighted to have Joanne on its team of Sonographers. She offers patients professional care and produces reports and imagery for referring specialists or self-referred scans.
Patients can rest assured that they will be in safe and caring hands when seeing Joanne. Her incredibly warm and friendly manner is enough to ease the nerves of even the most uneasy patients.
