Filler-Dissolving Injections
Dissolve Unwanted Dermal Filler
- Reduces appearance of dermal filler
- Repairs self confidence
- We treat patients from other clinics
Hyalase or Hyaluronidase is used to reverse the effects of dermal fillers. Hyalase is an enzyme our body already naturally produces which breaks down hyaluronic acid, the main ingredient in dermal fillers. Hyalase can be injected to dissolve the unwanted effects of dermal filler to prepare the treatment area to be corrected.
Undesirable filler can be due to lumps forming in the treatment area from the bad technique from a poorly trained practitioner, too much water retention caused by a particular filler, too much filler injected or the desired shape was not achieved by the filler or your practitioner. Areas of the face that are most often corrected are the tear trough, lips, chin and cheeks.
Hyalase dissolves fillers in 24-48 hours. We treat patients who have had dermal filler injections from other clinics and offer a correction after dissolving unwanted fillers.
Our doctors at Bodyvie can administer new dermal filler two weeks after the original filler was dissolved with Hyalase.
Your Bodyvie doctor will cleanse your skin and apply a topical anaesthetic if desired to the treatment area to reduce discomfort from the injection of hylase.
After the anaesthetic is activated and wiped off, your doctor will then inject the hyalse solution to the treatment area. You will notice the reduction from the fillers dissolving within 48 hours.
Depending on how much filler you would like dissolved, you may need 1-2 treatments of Hyalase injections.
You will notice results from filler-dissolving injections immediately after treatment. Results will be optimal after 24-48 hours post treatment.
