Bodyvie offers the most advanced technology for safe and effective laser tattoo removal – QUANTA Q-PLUS C EVO LASER. The most versatile multi-laser platform available with direct emission laser hand-pieces for the safe removal of all black, white and coloured tattoos, as well as ghosting.
Laser tattoo removal works by targeting the pigment of your tattoo ink and breaking it down into tiny particles, which are gradually reabsorbed into the bloodstream. This is absolutely safe and the particles will be naturally flushed out by the body. Treatments are precise and bespoke, with parameters set to your individual needs and skin type, to ensure safe results.
Because laser tattoo removal is a gradual process, a course of treatments is required to safely remove your tattoo. Generally 6 treatments are required, spaced 6-8 weeks apart, but this is dependent on the ink colour, density and your skin type.
We treat tattoos of any colour including more difficult red, blue and green pigment ranges, which many older technologies are unable to target. Our laser tattoo removal can also target ghosting leftover from old tattoos. Utilising advanced fractional resurfacing, skin will be smoothed out and gently resurfaced to restore a clear and even complexion.
Our aestheticians will thoroughly assess your tattoo to determine the best treatment plan for you. A quick test patch is always administered on a small corner of your tattoo so that you can gauge individual response and experience the treatment.
A laser test patch is required 48 hours prior to treatment. If your skin reacts well to the laser test patch you can commence treatment.
During treatment, your therapist will apply cool air to the treatment area and apply the laser over the tattoo. You will notice the ink temporarily blister white.
After treatment, it is strongly advised to protect your treated tattoo from UV exposure.
Within 6-8 weeks, you will notice your tattoo’s ink begin to fade before you have another treatment.
Generally 6-12 sessions are required to successfully remove your tattoo. At your consultation, your therapist will assess your tattoo to better determine the amount of treatments needed for optimal removal.
You will begin to see results within a month after treatment. You will notice your tattoo will begin to fade as the ink is broken down into particles and is absorbed by your body.
