Hormonal Intrauterine Systems for perimenopause and menopause symptoms have become popular as effective hormone replacement therapy treatments.

The Mirena coil is a gentle option to treat the symptoms of perimenopause as part of hormone replacement therapy and act as a contraceptive. It slowly and constantly releases progesterone into the womb to treat some symptoms of perimenopausal and PMS such as heavy bleeding.
