Dermalux treatment uses LED Phototherapy to activate cellular activity beneath the surface of the skin to instantly revitalise a tired and dull complexion. This skin-healing treatment hydrates and plumps skin while alleviating redness and irritation. Dermalux LED is an effective, noninvasive treatment.
Dermalux LED is carried out at our Richmond clinic only, at 133-135 Kew Road, TW9 2PN. It is not available at our Belgravia clinic.
What is a Dermalux LED?
Dermalux accelerates the skin’s natural rejuvenation and repair process. It is pain-free and relaxing and is clinically proven to treat a variety of skin concerns.
Dermalux is a multi-award-winning treatment that uses the highest-quality LEDs, expertly aligned to deliver each therapeutic wavelength at a specific, measured energy output, intensity, and dose. This advanced technology allows all three wavelengths to be used simultaneously for the most effective treatment.
Dermalux LED Therapy delivers Red, Near-Infrared, and Blue Light for skin rejuvenation, collagen and elastin production, healing skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, infections, and wounds, post-treatment recovery, acne, and banishing blemish-causing bacteria.
The rejuvenating Red Light energises skin cells and accelerates collagen and elastin production to increase skin hydration. This light helps restore glow.
The Near-Infrared Light promotes healthy skin whilst calming redness/irritation and reducing pigmentation issues.
And finally, Blue Light destroys the bacteria causing blemishes and spots while calming problematic skin zones.
Each treatment lasts approximately 20 minutes and is a pleasant, relaxing experience under the light. The Dermalux treatment is pain-free, with no downtime and suitable for all skin types.
During and after the treatment, your skin may feel warm, and you may notice some redness, but this will resolve quickly. Furthermore, as this treatment triggers skin-enhancing processes, the benefits will continue to arise long after the treatment has finished.

Your treatment will begin with the cleansing of your skin. Your aesthetician will then place you under the Dermalux LED light and it will be programmed to treat your specific condition. You will lie under the light for 10-20 minutes depending on the treatment selected.
The number of treatments you will need varies depending on your treating condition however, generally speaking, a course of treatments is advised for optimal results.
Depending on the condition you are treating, results will vary. Some conditions respond faster to LED light therapy than others.
