RF Microneedling is a skin rejuvenation treatment that combines radiofrequency (RF) energy with microneedling. This combination stimulates your skin’s natural healing process and effectively boosts the production of collagen and elastin, two essential proteins that provide the skin with structure and elasticity. Collagen is primarily responsible for the skin’s strength and firmness, while elastin ensures flexibility and resilience.

During this dual-action procedure, tiny needles penetrate the skin, delivering precise amounts of RF energy deep into the dermis (the middle layer of the skin). This stimulates skin rejuvenation, lessens the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles, and tightens the epidermis (the outermost layer of the skin), which serves as a protective barrier. The results following the treatment are visible and long-lasting, with minimal downtime.

Microneedling is carried out at our Richmond clinic only, at 133-135 Kew Road, TW9 2PN. It is not available at our Belgravia clinic.

After Procedure

After your RF microneedling treatment with Dual Focus, your skin may feel tight & look slightly red for a few hours. This is completely normal and usually fades by the next day. Most patients can return to work the following day and use makeup to cover any remaining redness if desired.

Results

Visible after just one session. Depending on the skin concern, a minimum of 3 treatments are recommended at 4 or 6-week intervals for optimal results. At Bodyvie, we blend medical excellence with personalised care to deliver results that feel as natural as they look.

The treatment is effective for individuals with concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, or uneven skin texture, as it targets deeper layers of the skin without affecting pigmentation.

Is RF Microneedling painful?

A topical anaesthetic is applied before the procedure. Mild discomfort may occur during the procedure, but it is minimal.

How long does an RF Microneedling Richmond session take?

Treatments usually take 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the treated area.

What is the downtime after treatment?

Downtime is minimal. You may experience slight redness and tightness for 24–48 hours post-treatment, but most clients can resume daily activities the next day.
