We provide confidential GP appointments and private prescriptions for a wide range of health concerns. For new patients or new prescriptions, a consultation appointment is required. Since 1999, we’ve been dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care, safety, and privacy.
During your appointment, you will be invited to discuss the health concerns you have, and your GP will give a diagnosis, issue you with the appropriate medication, and let you know if you require a repeat prescription.
Please be aware that it’s not possible to obtain a prescription without consultation, with the exception of patients who have had a test, and a condition requiring a prescription has been confirmed. Prescribed medication is at the doctor’s discretion and it may not always be possible to obtain the prescription you are requesting.
These rules are in accordance with clinical guidelines and in the interest of the safety of our patients, which we take extremely seriously.
New patient consultations
If you are a new patient of the practice, we will need to wait for your medical records to be transferred from your old practice before any prescriptions, new or old, are issued. It’s also possible that your GP may wish to review and discuss ongoing medication that you have been prescribed by your previous GP, before making the decision to re-issue.
A follow-up appointment is sometimes requested by your GP here at Bodyvie, so they can assess your progress and establish that the prescribed medication is having a positive impact.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We will request a consultation fee is paid in the first instance, but there is no consultation fee charge for repeat private prescriptions.
Results will vary depending on the condition being treated, the severity of the condition and the medication prescribed. During your private GP appointment, we will be able to advise, on an entirely individualised basis.
We will issue your prescription on the same day as your consultation unless we are awaiting tests results, in which case it will be issued once we have these back.
