LED Light Therapy offers many healing properties to alleviate the symptoms of a number of conditions. LED light therapy can improve symptoms of thyroid issues, oedema wound healing and chronic pain. This treatment is a relaxing and passive way to target conditions holistically.

Photodynamic LED Light Therapy is carried out at our Richmond clinic only, at 133-135 Kew Road, TW9 2PN. It is not available at our Belgravia clinic.

Bodyvie’s intensive Photodynamic LED Light Therapy treatment uses red, green, blue and near-infrared light to improve circulation, metabolic activity, cellular function, collagen stimulation and more.

LED light therapy allows light photons to convert light energy into cells to accelerate the growth of cells, improve circulation, stimulate the production of fibre protein, collagen and elasticity and relieve pain.

Each light colour of our LED light therapy treatment offers unique properties to treat your specific condition; the colours can be used separately or combined for a more effective treatment depending on your needs.

Red light increases cellular activity and metabolism, stimulating collagen production and blood circulation. By increasing cellular function, cells can function more efficiently with more energy, rejuvenating and repairing the damage.

This is ideal for wound healing, tissue repair, and treating inflammation and conditions such as psoriasis. Red light therapy has also been proven to improve joint pain for those with osteoporosis and provide short-term relief for those experiencing stiffness from rheumatoid arthritis.

Greenlight improves lymphatic circulation. By stimulating the lymphatic system, conditions such as oedema are alleviated, and water retention is reduced. Green light therapy has also been studied to treat migraines effectively

Blue light inhibits the development of inflammatory conditions and can destroy bacteria without affecting the skin to reduce infection. Blue light has been confirmed to treat eczema, psoriasis and acne.

Infrared light increases the production of nitric oxide, an important gas supporting the arteries. Nitric oxide causes blood vessels to widen, improving blood flow and blood pressure, reducing oxidative stress and delivering more oxygen to the muscles to reduce soreness and pain.

By improving blood circulation to deliver vital nutrients and oxygen to damaged and injured tissues, infrared light offers many healing properties, mainly wound healing and pain relief.

I was nervous that it would be painful and it would leave a mark on my face. This was not the case, I am absolutely thrilled with the results , it was painless and there isn’t a mark on my face. How many treatments do I need?

The number of LED light therapy treatments you will need will be determined at your consultation by your doctor.

You will be advised as to how long each treatment should be spaced from each other for optimal results.

How quickly will I see results?

The severity of your condition will affect the length of time for results to be apparent. You may find relief after your first treatment or after 4 treatments. This will be discussed at your consultation.
