What does the treatment involve?

Joint injections are carefully administered by your doctor. After your initial consultation, your doctor will have determined the most suitable treatment for your needs which may be natural, hyaluronic acid gel or steroid injections. Depending on the particular treatment chosen, you may need to have a course of treatments to successfully alleviate the symptoms of joint pain and/or inflammation. Your doctor will inject the chosen treatment directly into the joint. Due to the nature of injectables, you may experience swelling and bruising for a day or two but these side effects will subside.

How many treatments do I need?

Depending on the chosen treatment, you may need a course of treatments. If your doctor advises injections with your body’s own growth factors, you will be advised to have 6 monthly treatments for optimal results. If you are prescribed hyaluronic acid gel injections, your treatment can be effective for up to a year and no other treatments will be needed in the interim. Steroid injections are effective for 3-4 months.

How quickly will I see results?

Results will vary depending on the treatment chosen for your specific joint pain. You may experience relief within a few days after treatment or with a course of Natural Rejuvenation injections, relief can be gradually accumulative.
